[C4C] Board Volunteering at Westside Food Bank

Volunteer 11-1 at the Westside Food Bank! Afterwards, we plan to grab a drink nearby at Santa Monica Brew Works (1920 Colorado Ave).

We will be working in a warehouse sorting produce into boxes, sorting canned items into categories and boxes, and re-packing rice and beans for distribution. Exact activities vary due to product availability. Specifics of your volunteering activities will be discussed during volunteer orientation. You will be moving around and will likely be breaking a s
weat, so please wear closed toed shoes, and bring your own water.

The Food Bank can be difficult to find and is nestled between the 10 Freeway and Olympic Blvd. Enter off Cloverfield Blvd. to Michigan Ave., then make a Right onto 22nd St. The Food Bank is located on the West side of the street across from SoCal Edison. The Food Bank building is shared with "Mark the Carpetbagger"- this marquee is the most visible indication that you've arrived.
