[OAC] Tough Mudder Los Angeles

When was the last time you did something for the first time? Tough Mudder is THE outdoor adventure, and a bucket list experience not be missed. All about camaraderie and collaboration (re: FIL), run, walk, jog, or anything in between on either the 3-5 mile option or 10 mile option and work as a team to get through obstacles like human pyramids, balance challenges, monkey bars, and more! All obstacles are completely optional, many are over water, and all are a blast! You will surprise yourself with what you can achieve!

Is this intriguing but seems generally insane and you wonder why anyone would do this? 
It is insane, but its really fun. Many obstacles are just jumping over walls and its all about teamwork and helping eachother out. The 10 mile version is the most fun, and there are 30 obstacles so you never run (or walk!) more than like a half mile at a time, and the obstacles are really really fun (see "Block Ness Monster"). The 3-5 mile version is also a blast, just shorter, with 13ish obstacles. Then, you can hang out and party at the winner circle/festival with beers and food trucks and lots of giveaways until the 10 milers are done! Regardless, big groups normally section off a bit during the race, so don't worry about trying to keep up with our Marine classmates.

How muddy will I get?
It depends on the year but pretty muddy at points, and then there are obstacles with water that rinse you off along the way. 

I can't even do a pullup, how am I supposed to do these obstacles?
With help! Tough Mudder is all about teamwork and everyone is there to give you a lift!
