Joint Hike with the Wine Club and AnderEats

Have you ever considered going camping but couldn't bear the thought of eating dehydrated meals and skipping your evening glass of wine?
OAC is teaming up with Anderson Wine Club and AnderEats to show you that you don't always have to rough it in the outdoors. This short day-hike in Malibu will be combined with a wine tasting and food pairing to help you plan the menu for your next adventure. We will be offering a tasting of the finest "portable" wines (ie: bagged) because no one wants to lug a heavy glass bottle back to the trailhead after a night of camping. The food menu will emphasize items that don't require refrigeration and have high calorie:weight ratios, (think: hard cheeses, cured meats, hummus, and chocolate.)

Limited spots available through OAC, AWC, and AnderEats events. You only need to sign up through one club if you are a member in more than one.
Where: Eagle Rock, Topanga State Park, park at Trippet Ranch
When: 1/26 11:00 AM, in parking area
Distance: 4 miles, round trip
Parking: fee parking in Topanga State Park; free on Entrada Road, but you must obey signs and your car must be entirely outside the white line or you will be ticketed
This is a typical beginner Malibu hike – on a fire road with minimal elevation gain
