Marilyn Fedak, the founder of the Adam Smith Society will be joining us November 30th to speak on the Future of Capitalism and its role as a moral force for good.

As a prominent business woman and successful leader and entrepreneur, Marilyn will speak about the importance of maintaining capitalist system and what Adam Smith Society members can do to support free markets.

The Anderson Chapter of The Adam Smith Society in partnership with the Women's Business Connection and Investment Finance Association invites all Anderson students and faculty to attend this great event. Lunch will be provided.

Marilyn G. Fedak sits on the Advisory Board of the Adam Smith Society. She is the founder of the Marilyn G. Fedak Capitalism Project that, in partnership with the Manhattan Institute started the Adam Smith Society. She spent the bulk her career at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Inc. and its successor AllianceBernstein. She was chief investment officer for U.S. Large-Cap Value Equities from 1993 to 2009, and in 2009 she was named vice chair of investment services. She was a partner at AllianceBernstein and served on Sanford C. Bernstein & Co.ÔÇÖs board of directors.
