SSLA x AVA: Lead. Mentor. Inspire

The Association of Veterans at Anderson (AVA) is honored to host the Sea Services Leadership Association (SSLA) for a special leadership and networking event on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at UCLA Anderson.

This event is part of AVA’s commitment to empowering service members beyond the uniform. The day will feature military women from across branches engaging in open conversation around professional transitions, entrepreneurship, and resource access.

Tentative Schedule:
12:30 – 12:45 PM: Check-in & Light Refreshments
12:45 – 1:00 PM: Welcome Remarks (AVA + UCLA Leadership)
1:00 – 2:00 PM: Panel Discussion + Audience Q&A
Topics: VA benefits, entrepreneurship, alternative pathways to success. Featuring speakers from: SSLA, WIT, the VA, and a veteran entrepreneur
2:00 – 2:30 PM: Open Networking & Informal Mentorship
