Good Bye Lenin!

In 1990, a young man must protect his fragile mother from a fatal shock after she just woke up from a long coma. He keeps her from learning that communism has collapsed and that her beloved nation of East Germany as she knew it has disappeared. As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, this tragicomedy shows Berlin going through drastic changes following the collapse of the soviet union.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A session where students will have the opportunity to discuss the movie.
Panelist: Robin Gallimard
