Max Joshua joins ECA and Net Impact to share what 11 months of unemployment taught her about climate ambition, making money, and building queer community.
Max Joshua is a go-to-market and climate-tech strategist whose work spans satellite-based emissions monitoring, hyperspectral imagery, and building scalable climate market solutions. She has led business development for the Carbon Mapper Coalition’s methane-monitoring satellite constellation and currently advises startups, investors, and service providers through her firm, Atmos Impact.
Drawing on 11 months of unemployment, Max shares how she maintained climate ambition, built queer community, and pursued purpose without sacrificing identity. Her talk will address turning setbacks into strategic pivots, aligning personal values with a mission-driven career, and surfacing queer leadership in the climate space.
Join ECA, O@A, Net Impact, and Max as she unpacks how the long game often wins when you want to change the world and stay true to yourself!
