[EA/HBA] Speaker Series with BiVACOR

The Entrepreneur Association and Healthcare Business Association are pleased to co-host a special Real Talk Speaker Series event, featuring guest speaker Daniel Timms, founder of BiVACOR.

BiVACOR is a rapidly-growing venture-backed medical device company based in Cerritos, CA. Founded in 2013, the BiVACOR is a total artificial heart designed to take over the complete function of a patient's failing heart. The device can support both sides of a failing heart or can act as a total heart replacement. BiVACOR is currently conducting animal trials in partnership with the Texas Heart Institute in Houston and is preparing to submit an application to the FDA to begin human trials.

The company is growing its team and is very interested in developing relationships and collaborating with the UCLA community.
