Thaminda Ramanayake is currently the Director of Business Development and Strategy at BioMarin Pharmaceuticals, a world leader in developing and commercializing innovative biopharmaceuticals for rare genetic diseases where he leads the end to end business development lifecycle and strategic initiatives. Previously, he was at Amgen where he evaluated and executed complex transactions and corporate strategy initiatives. Prior to that, he was at Grant Thorton, EY, and Empire Valuation Consultants. Thaminda received his MBA and Masters in Immunology from the University of Rochester and was on the Board of Directors of the Youth Science Center.
