UCLA Anderson and the Undergraduate Business Society (UBS) host a Q&A with James Kim, chairman and CEO
of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea. Kim will talk about the impact of business school on his career as
well as his perspective on international jobs and what it takes to be successful in the corporate workplace.
Prior to AMCHAM Korea, Kim was president and CEO of GM Korea, country manager and CEO of Microsoft Korea,
CEO of Yahoo Korea, and Asia regional vice president of Yahoo's Overture. He has held positions as managing
partner at Palisades Advisors, CEO of the Corcoran Group, CEO of Vivien International and national marketing
manager at AT&T. Kim graduated from UCLA in 1984 with a B.A. in economics and founded the Undergraduate
Business Society during his time here. He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
