Testimonials from Fellows and Boards

"I was passionate about Junior Achievement and the work they do before embarking on my MBA journey. The fact that I've gotten to continue my volunteer work as well as serve on the board of an organization I love is a one-of-a-kind Anderson experience. Knowing that the work I'm doing continues to put smiles on kids' faces and build their financial literacy has been so rewarding."

Fellow, Junior Achievement SoCal

"I have always been passionate about serving my community, and the Board Fellows program opened my eyes to how a nonprofit board is instrumental to helping an organization meet the needs of the community it serves. In working with Chrysalis, I have had the privilege of getting to know both board members and staff and have been inspired by the organizations' commitment to its mission of supporting job placement and security in Los Angeles."

"Learning from a non-profit founder, first-hand, has been an invaluable opportunity, garnering insights that will enhance my ability to serve as a trusted adviser for mission-driven enterprises for years to come. There is really no substitute for the in-person experience of participating on a board and having honest and personal conversations with my mentor about decisions that influence the future of his organization. "
