Tim Cadogan has been CEO of the crowdfunding platform GoFundMe since 2020. A veteran tech executive as well as a search and rescue volunteer, he is widely recognized as a leading innovator and appears on Time’s 2025 list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. Since its launch, GoFundMe has enabled people to raise over $40 billion for themselves and their loved ones, their communities and the nonprofit organizations they care about. The company’s 2025 Year in Help Report tallies 70 million donations made at the rate of 2.5 per second every day. The “most generous” day of 2025? January 10, when GoFundMe.org began distributing some 7,500 direct cash grants delivered through more than $8.4 million raised for people affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
