Join SBA and AnderTech in a conversation with DraftKings' Director of Global Technology Operations Sean Flanagan.

Sean Flanagan has over 15 years of experience in technical engineering. He completed his undergrad at Boston College and in 2017 earned his MBA from the University of Maryland. Prior to working at DraftKings, Sean worked for Verizon Wireless and BlackBoard Inc. in various technical and engineering roles. Sean began his career at DraftKings as the Director of the Marketing Platform Engineering and now currently serves as Director of Global Technology Operations overseeing a team of 1300 engineers across 6 countries. With the rapid growth experienced by the sports betting industry, Sean's strategic areas of focus include scale/data science, customer expansion and talent retention. Outside of his work at DraftKings, Sean manages several entrepreneurial ventures including a technical consultancy and professional services firm offering luxury ski/vacation rentals and management in the Park City, UT mountain region.
