About the Speaker:
Kien is a Global Technology and Sourcing executive who has led successful organizations at Spotify, Meta, Sony, Disney, PwC, and Accenture. He helps companies improve their profit margins and maximize the returns on technology spending and investments.

At Spotify, Kien leads Technology Sourcing, Supplier Management, Cloud Economics, and Cost Insights Engineering teams.

His exciting career has exposed him to ambitious projects in AI, AR, VR, Metaverse, FinTech, and R&D at Meta's Reality Labs; as well as "next-gen" technologies used in movies, games, music, and consumer electronics at Sony and Disney. At Disney, he also supported Disney R&D on animatronics and special effects; and worked in China to construct roller coasters and hotels for Shanghai Disneyland and the resorts in China.

Originally from Singapore, he graduated with the highest distinction from UK's top engineering university and received his M.B.A. in the US. He loves to swim, bike, run, travel, and photograph nature.
