Details

For our second Tech Bytes of the school year, Idan Maizlits (FTMBA 2020) will lead a class on APIs. We'll start by explaining everything you should know about APIs, discuss a few relevant decision-making scenarios you may face in a tech organization, and wrap up with a hands-on exercise where we'll show you how to connect to an open API to read data yourself.

Lunch will be provided.

About Idan:
Prior to Anderson, Idan majored in Computer Science at Ben Gurion University in Israel and then worked in different engineering roles in Israel's leading tech firms. He has a wide range of expertise along the tech stack from low level appliances that inspect country-wide traffic to high level web applications with over 500M daily unique users. In his last role, Idan was a Tech Lead at Ironsource, one of the leading ad networks in the world.

About AnderTech's Tech Bytes Series:
Tech Bytes are peer-led technical skills-building workshops featuring bite-sized topics that can be taught in 1 hour. Instructors are MBA candidates from the FTMBA/FEMBA programs who have prior experience in technology roles and are passionate about sharing knowledge to help their peers break into tech.
