Join the Video Game Business Association (VGBA) for a special double feature panel event hosted in Discord, providing insights into the massive sector of Chinese Game Studio development, and a spotlight on one of the most recent popular Chinese-developed games. This will be covered in two 30-min screenings from the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2024:

Session 1: "A Deeper Understanding of Chinese Game Studios: How They Operate"
The Chinese game market plays an important role in the global game market. This presentation will introduce the organizational structure, workflow, and decision-making model of a top Chinese game studio. More panel info is HERE.

Session 2: "Genshin Impact: Creating Time-Limited Open Worlds for Summer Events"
Attendees will gain insight into how Genshin Impact's design team treats the key elements of in-game events as driving factors for event maps. They will leave with a set of tips on theming quests, revealing regions, and integrating in-game activities into event maps. More panel info is HERE.
