SOMA Club Events: Analytics Workshop #3 - VBA - February 1st
Join us for SOMA's third analytics workshop of the academic year focused on VBA who will be taught by Robin (FTMBA 2020)! VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is a programming language for Microsoft Office that allows you to be more efficient and effective by allowing you to automate repetitive tasks. During the workshop you will learn how to write basic VBA macros to help you automate some tasks when working with excel. Think in the Next Innovation Challenge - February 28th SOMA is launching its first Strategy and Operations Case Competition as part of the Think in the Next Innovation Challenge. This competition will emphasize operations strategy, supply chain and sustainability through the lens of four frontiers of next-generation technologies: artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR), internet of things (IoT) and blockchain. Teams must be comprised of 3-5 students, from the same school, and a minimum of 2 students must be FT MBA students. Teams must register by 11:59 pm on January 25th. The preliminary round will be February 28th, and finalists will advance to the final presentations on February 29th. Start forming your teams!! Find more information HERE.
