 Contact tracing apps were thought to be the savior to the COVID-19 crisis, as people could easily identify when coming into contact with someone who was infected. Instead, there have been issues with privacy and surveillance and in the haphazard way in which the various apps have been developed, leaving these apps with low adoption rates and limited effectiveness.

We were impressed by the detailed analyses and recommendations of the current COVID-19 situation that each team put forth.
